Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most famous role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school and then moved to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theater in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at television and film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big role in the role of Arden in the 29th episode in the series Down the Shore. In the following years, she was an actor in few TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's when she appeared in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. At the beginning of 2000 she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was also on the stage in the David Schwimmer directed production of Sex With Strangers. The actress played a role in the audio podcast of four parts drama Numbered days that is set to be released in 2022. Breaking Bad's plot is typically focused on the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their relationship that is strained. The tension in their relationship and the its eventual ending is reminiscent of the last years of Walter White's life.
